I don't even LIKE cheese...and the Bacon/Brie/Fig Jam grilled cheese is PHENOMENAL. I announced to my partner, regardless of what we order from here in the future, we at a minimum order this Brie grilled cheese from here to split...anytime we are anywhere NEAR Maricopa...even if we are not hungry, we are getting one of these to split! IT'S Happening, NO discussion to be had! We ordered the Pancake Flight...yeah, like a flight of beer to sample all the brews...only it's different flavors of pancakes, AND wow, yes, you want to try that, too. We also each ordered an entree, everything was so delicious, cooked and paired/plated to perfection. This was our first time here, and there was a wait...but MAN was it SOOO well worth the wait. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the owner/founder here is a bit of Culinary Greatness that I am proud to know is here in Arizona. Needless to say, we will be back. The prices are great, if you ask me. Think about this: McDs costs over $30 for my partner and I to get breakfast from, eating that we KNOW we will both be hungry a few hours later. We ordered several things here, and french press coffees (SO good!) Bill was about $80...large portions of protein, good quality food, a well balanced meal.. we were stuffed, this was at 1pm...we couldn't eat the rest of the day, we were both full. That was our only meal of the day! I wish they had a location closer to home. I would be there every day!

I like Roots Eatery because the food is fresh and consistently good. It’s casual, family-friendly, and locally owned which makes it feel like a true part of the community.

This was my first time at Roots eatery! It was amazing, the food was delicious 😋! The service was mostly amazing! Tyler and Chandler you both were top notch! The Cheesecake was very good! The burger was very well prepared and the presentations were beautiful! I met so many lovely patrons! There were so many friendly people in Roots! I had spoken to Tyler on the phone earlier that day and he asked me how I was doing.? Honestly I didn't feel that great about somethings going on and I felt sad. He told me that the Cheesecake was great I said ok. Maybe I will see you later. I came in hours later I felt like crying until I walked in the door. What i didn't know was they made a reservation for me and I had a special table. The young lady was so sweet she asked me my name when I told her she said I have been waiting for you!! 😢 😭. I was surprised 😮 i don't think she knows how her smile and great service blessed me! I was placed at a table and I met the most wonderful people ❤️. Thank you Roots eatery! Gods glory met me here and turned a sadness into laughter and joy! I left with a smile on my face! I have my own business here in town I make dessert. I met so many nice people that shared smiles and their dessert with me. I know this review is long but even now I feel like crying happy tears! Thank you Jesus for leading me to Roots eatery. It was great blessing! 😢 😭 😊 😊! Chef Chris we didn't meet but from one chef to another you are doing an amazing job 👏. You never know what a person's day has been like or how they are feeling so be kind to people. When they walk in be kind it can help them and yourself.

Roots eatery in amazing! It is worth a tricky turn through a small outside mall! Coming in, being welcomed with a big smile and super cool art on the back wall makes the drive worth it!Atmosphere awesome and there is also a patio! But lots talk food!! The mini donut breakfast was crispy perfect hashbrowns topped with eggs and a side of the BEST perfectly cooked bacon!! And 2 delicious mini donuts. Eat those first so they are still warm! My other meal was the most tender steak and 2 eggs! Best Meat= absolutely tops cooked med rare perfect!! Service was friendly and the vibe fit a perfect brunch so i ordered the vodka mango drink special! Delicious X two!! Order a strawberry pancake for the road!! I cant say enough good things so I am going again right now. Enjoy these photos from late weekend's visit and then, check the hours, heads to roots eatery!!

We're from put-of-state and we're looking for dinner in Maricopa; Yelp reviews we're almost good so.... Not a fancy place but staff we're excellent, well-trained and attentive. We had three dishes - Arincini, a Sunday Gravy (meat sauce) and chicken marmalade. Everything was hot and tasty.

I have been curious about this place! I went yesterday afternoon, and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor! On top of this, the young lady who took my to go order was so nice and polite! I really appreciated the overall experience! I will be back soon to dine in and try more items off of the menu! Keep up the great work! So glad you’re in Maricopa! 🍔🍟🤤♥️

The wife and I loved the food. We went for dinner and I had fettuccine with Salmon and the wife vegetables Lasagna and a salad. We then had the dessert after the full course meal. 😋The service was very good. We definitely will be back again after the wonderful service and outstanding food. I will be back this weekend and try the breakfast/bunch food.

I mean, I don't know where to start. This is a cute restaurant tucked away like the hidden gem it is! The staff are not just friendly, they are welcoming. Definitely feels like a neighborhood spot with a chef that just happens to create flavors out of this world! We started with the seasonal flatbread and the bruschetta. Both options were incredible. For our entrees, I went with the blackened salmon with brocolini and smashed potatoes. My husband had the Aunt Mary's pasta. The portions were ample and everything was flavored well. And had to try the creme brulee and so do you!! It's sooo good. This is a perfect date night, friends night, solo date, or family night spot. Plenty of options without being overwhelming. Definitely coming back!

We were searching for local spots in Maricopa to take our visiting family from Canada and came across Roots Eatery—and we’re so glad we did! We were looking for something unique and local, and Roots hit the mark perfectly. The atmosphere was welcoming and casual, and the food was absolutely delightful. Each dish had a fun twist that made it stand out without being too out-there. You can really tell they put thought into the flavors and presentation. Our whole group enjoyed their meals, and it quickly became one of those places you know you’ll want to return to. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for something a little different and a lot delicious!

This has been one of my favorite restaurant experiences since I moved to Maricopa! Excellent food of high quality, great service, good prices, a menu with plenty of variety, and a nice atmosphere that could play to both a more casual brunch or a more dressed-up dinner out. We stopped in for brunch and were impressed with how attentive, professional, and courteous Janelle was. Despite the busy morning of customers, our drinks stayed topped off and we got all the help we needed. We tried the Chef’s Creative Benny, Stuffed French Toast, and Roots Breakfast Platter, as well as trying their take on the Screwdriver and Espresso Martini cocktails. Everything was delicious! The brioche bread was toasted on the outside, soft on the inside, the eggs were fluffy, and the fruit was fresh. I cannot understate how good the bacon was. I’ve tried all sorts of bacon, but they did it right. Thick but not too thick, crispy yet not burnt, and just a hint of cherry to it. Fantastic. If you haven’t been here and you live in Maricopa, it’s time to pay Roots Eatery a visit! And if you can, ask for Janelle! She is a rock star and a valuable addition to this business.
